Ekemini Ekpo

tl;dr: Ekemini Ekpo is a writer and researcher (often), theatre-maker (sometimes), and southerner (always). She loves using asterisks to censor words that are not actually pr*f*ne, and invariably yearns for the last place she left.

Research

tl;dr: Ekemini is an experienced social science researcher, having worked in both full-time and freelance capacities. Her collaborators have ranged from non-profits, to academics, to arts organizations, and her work is most frequently concerned with articulating the experiences of marginalized people. Ekemini holds an A.B. in Sociology (and a minor in Statistics) from Harvard University.

She jokes that if she can’t find it, it can’t be found—it gives her something to aim for.
